I'm copying most of this from my World Race friend Jimmy McCarty's recent blog. It's a prayer request from friends in Mozambique. They are a South African family living and ministering in Mozambique. You would have to see it with your own eyes to appreciate the sacrifices this family makes to serve the Kingdom.

While there in the summer of 2007 our team worked with and lived with Jaco and Maria and their kids Maggie and Rudo. They were amazingly accomodating to us and have partnered with The World Race since our time with them.

The following is an email Jaco just sent to Jimmy.

"Hi Jimmy.

We are as a family going thru a very difficult time. I went for a small operation on Thursday and will know today ( Monday ) if I have cancer of the glands. This is really very difficult for me it is as if my mind keep on running away all the time thinking about " what if ". What about my family and the ministry. Then I just say to myself but God is in controle. Please pray for us we really need it.
